"When an American asks for the cooperation of his fellow citizens, it is seldom refused; and I have often seen it afforded spontaneously, and with great goodwill." - Alexis de Tocqueville

The Tocqueville Society at United Way honors the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors that Alexis de Tocqueville admired most. Tocqueville Society members are recognized locally and nationally for their extraordinary leadership, commitment, and dedication to our community.
