Know your options during National Apprenticeship Week

Some people know exactly what they want to be when they grow up, and others have absolutely no idea. Regardless if you have your 5 year plan all mapped out, or if you are still deciding on what's right for you, knowing your options can put you at an advantage over your peers when it comes to preparing for your future career. 

In an effort to weigh all your options, United Way of Rock River Valley wants you to know how to educate yourself on construction trades careers. During National Apprenticeship Week (November 12-18, 2018), visit the Workforce Connection located at 303 N. Main Street, Rockford IL 61101 to attend workshops introducing you to ways to get into the construction trades.

The Highway Construction Careers Training Program (HCCTP) aims to help women, minorities, and disadvantaged individuals gain acceptance into the construction trades apprenticeship programs. Attend this session to learn more.
