Impact Project Manager

This position relies on expert program and time management and provides supervision and leadership for United Way's community impact and investment process. Position provides oversight for Irving Avenue Strong Neighborhoods House and its programming; Loves Park Strong Neighborhoods House and its programming; Ogle and Winnebago counties Grant Process; I READ and Success By 6 (United Way's early childhood and early grade literacy initiatives); 2-1-1; and United Way's Volunteer Center and Volunteer Engagement activities.

Achievement Advocate

Under limited supervision, the Achievement Advocate will help ensure middle school students are on track to graduate high school by utilizing an Early Warning Response System (EWRS) in concert with the school principal, parents, and community leaders. Primary functions include supporting student academic achievement to remain on-track by addressing barriers to necessary services and supports, promoting active family and community engagement and enabling more efficient and effective use of key resources.
