FAQs

How does United Way make a difference?
United Way of Rock River Valley is an organization focused on improving lives of individuals in our community. We have evolved based on local needs and priorities. We are working to reduce truancy rates and increase graduation rates. By focusing on these priorities, we are working to prevent problems instead of dealing with them later. .

What does LIVE UNITED mean?
We all want to make our community a better place. To make sure everyone has a chance to be successful.  To leave behind a better, brighter future for our children.  But how do we do this?  Two simple words: LIVE UNITED. By LIVING UNITED, together, we can focus on making a difference in our community by preventing problems and creating more opportunities for our future.  When you reach out a hand to one you improve the lives others.
