About Strong Neighborhoods House

In collaboration with City of Rockford Police Department and ZION Development, United Way is opening a Strong Neighborhoods House in both Ellis Heights and Midtown neighborhoods. These houses will build positive relationships between residents and local police officers, provide necessary human services directly to the residents, and improve the overall quality of life in the neighborhood. Programming includes financial literacy and mental health resources for families, and summer activities for youth. The first of these houses is set to open December 1, 2015.
